There is talk of returning MATTY to Cooperstown at the National Baseball Hall of Fame. MATTY was not only the first inductee into baseball’s hallowed shrine but MATTY was the first outside event (play) ever performed at the Museum. There are now regular arts events that make their way into Cooperstown as special events. We are proud to have had any hand in that transformation. It has been twelve years since MATTY was performed last in the Grandstand Theatre at the Hall (there were numerous performances there from 1997 to 2001) so we’re hoping that after COVID-19 we can arrange this special performance. MATTY was last performed at the Hall of Fame in August 2001.
